The Balay ni IFAN Media Group will aid the National Nutrition Council Region 02 (NNC R02) to assess their Nutrition Information and Education radio programs and plugs aired over different radio stations and media partners in Cagayan Valley.

Different members of the Balay ni Ifan media group pledged their support during the conduct of the first quarter Balay ni IFAN Media Meeting held last 15 February at Taj Hotel and Resto/Bar, Tuguegarao City. As agreed by the body, the expertise of the Cagayan State University- Carig Campus specifically the Mass Communication under the College of Arts and Sciences will be tapped to lead the conduct of the research. With the help of the students an in-depth analysis using communication and research tools to further gauge the effectiveness and reached of NNC r02’s radio program will be done.

Furthermore, members of Balay ni IFAN, NNC R02 and professors of CSU Carig Campus will organize a technical working group to draft and finalize the research questionnaires and survey forms. Ms. Maria Gisela M. Lonzaga, OIC,Nutrition Program Coordinator-NNC R02, hope to materialize this plan by second quarter of 2018. #jnlb
