Members of the Technical Assistance, Monitoring and Evaluation (TAME) team visited Early Childhood Care and Development in the First 1000 Days (ECCD F1K) Program areas of San Carlos City, Binalbagan and Cadiz City in Negros Occidental last week, March 12-16, 2018.
The visit aimed to: (1) assess quantity, quality, timeliness of services and its effects on the general well-being of target beneficiaries; (2) provide continuous capacity development and exchange of knowledge with barangay-based workers; (3) identify positive outcomes brought about by the program, (4) determine availability of documentation and records management; and (5) provide a venue for sharing of knowledge and experiences on the importance of ECCD F1K Program.
The team, composed of Ms. Allysa Jane S. Mernelo, Budget and Management Specialist I of DBM, Newelle M. Magas, IT Officer of ECCD Council and NO II Raceline Faye D. Calangi of NNC Central Office accompanied by ECCD F1K PNC Steffanie Hope P. Leonidas, concluded the visit by giving a feedback to Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Maranon and Dr. Ernell Tumimbang of PHO Negros Occidental.
