#DA9RICEPROGRAM – RED Rad Donn L. Cedeño was represented by RTD Ferdinand D. Gamorot in the Rice Seeds Turnover ceremony in Zamboanga City on Wednesday.

A total of 650 bags of hybrid and inbred rice seeds were turned over to the City Agriculture office, intended for the rice farmers in District 1 in Zamboanga City.

Present during the turnover were DA9 Rice Program Regional Coordinator Evelyn P. Academia, 1st District Representative Cesar JAWO Jimenez, Jr., Agriculture Committee Chair Atty Al-Jihan Edding, Councilor Bong Atilano, City Agriculturist Carmencita Sanchez, and the agricultural districts’ Field Officers, and farmer leaders.

Aside from the rice seeds, the Rice farmers in District 1 were also given a simple Christmas package courtesy of the Local Government of Zamboanga through the Office of City Agriculturist and Office of the Congressman Jimenez.
