DILGBORONGAN CITY – The Province of Eastern Samar and the City of Borongan takes turn in the conduct of planning workshop in the 2022-2024 Formulation of the Local Nutrition Action Plan and Integrating it in their Provincial Development and Physical Framework Plan (PDPFP), Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) and Annual Investment Programs (AIPs) for 2022.

NNC 8 invites Provincial DILG LGOO V Mr. Jannsen Rey Delantar to discuss The Mandanas-Garcia Supreme Court Ruling as an opportunity to support nutrition.
He stressed out incorporation of nutrition programs, projects and activities (PPAs) and harmonized it with the sectoral plans and provide funds to the said PPAs. All sectoral nutrition PPAs should be part of the PDPFP and CDP and ultimately in the AIP.

Expected outputs of the workshop for the city is their 3-year city nutrition action plan for 2022-2025 and likewise it’s integration to the annual investment programs for 2021. #NPC-CPD
