QUEZON CITY – During the last four months of 2020, a total of 1552 BNS, C/MNAOs and Assistant C/MNAOs in the 39 municipalities and one city of Quezon Province received financial subsidy from the Provincial Government of Quezon. Each MNAO received Php 3,000.00 while Assistant MNAOs got Php 2,500.00. All the 1,472 BNS of the province obtained P 2,500.00 each

The distribution of the monetary grant was spearheaded by Governor Danilo Suarez, PA/PAO/PNO Roberto Gajo, together with Quezon Province Vice Governor Sam Nantes and the Board Members: Romano Talaga, Beth Sio and Alona Obispo.

The members of PNAO District Nutrition Program Coordinators: Ms. Joan Maricel Decena, Mr. Bedwyr Cliff Maranan, Ms Gaye Elaine O. Perez and Mr. Rioben Delos Reyes – also assisted in the distribution of the grant which started first day of September 2020 in Dolores, Quezon and concluded in the municipality of Candelaria last December 16.

Through the PNAO Office, the municipalities received food commodities such as “Ready-to-use Supplementary Food (RUSF)” for pregnant women, “Nutri curls” and “Nutri blends” for children 6-59 months old.

The LGUs also received health coupons and free influenza vaccine immunization from the Quezon Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) and Department of Health (DOH).

With the campaign #SerbisyongSuarezsaKalusugan, the provincial government extends its helping hand and hopes that Quezonians will beat COVID and heal as one.
