REITERATION OF THE GUIDELINES IN THE USE OF GENDER-FAIR LANGUAGE IN ALL MANNER OF COMMUNICATION OF THE NNC
Part of NNC’s Gender and Development (GAD) agenda is the promotion of gender sensitivity in the workplace. As such, this is to reiterate observance of CSC Memorandum Circular No. 12, s. 2005, which refers to the use of non-sexist language in all NNC’s official documents, communications, and issuances. A copy of the said memo circular including some suggestions on how to use non-sexist or gender-fair language is attached herewith. Further, unit heads are instructed to ensure compliance of this memo circular. Staff may also refer to the orientation materials on use of gender-fair language, presented during the NNC-sponsored Women’s Month celebration last 8 March 2022.
