The Regional Nutrition Evaluation Team (RNET), chaired by Ms. Jellie Anne C. Palencia of DOH Center for Health Development – Calabarzon, with support from NNC Calabarzon is pleased to announce the list of top performing local nutrition focal points (LNFP) and runners-up who are qualified as awardees for this year’s Regional Nutrition Awarding Ceremony (RNAC).

The top performers are the following:

  • Emilma Pello, CNAO Tagaytay City – Calabarzon Nutrition Action Officer (NAO) of the Year 2019
  • Marietta Dogelio, CNPC Tagaytay City – Calabarzon Local Nutrition Program Coordinator (LNPC) of the Year 2019
  • Rowena Conde, BNS Binan City – Calabarzon Regional Outstanding Barangay Nutrition Scholar (ROBNS) of the Year 2019

Meanwhile, the following are the runners-up:

2019 NAO of the Year:

  • Cristina Olfindo – Elalto, CNAO Bacoor City
  • Isidora Alias, CNAO Binan City

2019 LNPC of the Year

  • Cresta Pamela del Valle, CNPC Antipolo City
  • Nelliadel Dalisay, MNPC Atimonan, Quezon

2019 Regional Outstanding BNS

  • Noriemi Macatangay, BNS Batangas City
  • Gay Rocha, BNS Bacoor City

The NNC Calabarzon conducts the Regional Nutrition Awarding Ceremony annually to give due recognition to LGUs and nutrition workers with exemplary performance in the past years’ implementation of nutrition programs of the PPAN.

In addition, another set of regional contenders for LGUs and Local Nutrition Committees in Calabarzon will be evaluated starting November 2021.

RNET is the inter-agency committee that conducts the evaluation process using the Monitoring and Evaluation of Local Level Plan Implementation PRO (MELLPI PRO).

In the meantime, NNC Calabarzon urges the LGUs in Region 4A to continuously be involved in this endeavor, to help them effectively implement nutrition programs, plans, and activities that are aligned with the PPAN (2017-2022) for the improvement of nutrition situations in the country.
