The City Government of Davao decided to place the entire Barangay 23-C in Davao City under a 14-day “hard lockdown” effective last July 04, 2020. Barangay 23-C is categorized as “very high risk,” as more residents tested positive of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

While addressing Covid-19 situation in the barangay, CHO still holds regular health activities such as nutrition, immunization, tuberculosis, tropical disease control, and the ‘Sabayang Patak Kontra Polio.

Last 16 July 2020, BNS’s and BHW’s of Barangay 23-C, Davao City facilitated by Nutrition Officer- Ms. Elmie Salahuddin distributed food packs and fish to families with malnourished children to ensure food security. Despite the barangay being classified as “Very High Risk” they still extended their services.
