The first ever Northern Mindanao Nutrition Action Officers Conference will be conducted this 2015 in partnership with the Department of Health Regional Office X. This was announced by DOH RO X Regional Director and Regional Nutrition Committee Chairperson Dr. Aristides Concepcion Tan during the December 10, 2014 meeting of the RNC. The announcement came after Mr. Elmer Risonar, NAOPA, Inc. Northern Mindanao Chapter President, presented their thrusts and directions as member of the Regional Nutrition Committee.

Dir. Tan believes that the upcoming 2015 Regional NAOs Conference is a good initiative of the Association that would serve as a venue for all the Nutrition Action Officers to strengthen their relationships, discuss priority policy agenda and harmonize their advocacy. Mr. Risonar said that he will put this as part of the priority agenda during the first quarter meeting of the Association scheduled on January 21, 2015. The NAOPA, Inc. Northern Mindanao became member of the RNC only last 17 September 2014.
