Dr. Kadil M. Sinolinding Jr., DPBO, ARMM Secretary of Health leads the ceremonial turnover of the Department to the incumbent Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao Minister of Health Dr. Saffrullah M. Dipatuan held on February 26, 2018 at DOH Training Center, ORG Compound, Cotabato City. DOH Division heads, Human Resource for Health (HRH), Programs under Special Fund and attach agencies were present during the historic turnover.

Secretary Sinolinding Jr. said, “It was a great privilege to work with exceptional men and women of the department that made our office to be known worldwide, keep it up as we pray that Allah S.W.T shall guide the new sets of officers and our leaders”. He mentions several accomplishments from the reduction of maternal and infant deaths, eradication of malaria in endemic areas from 4,500 cases to only 3 in 7 years, hospitals that matched international standards, nutrition and ECCD interventions, accredited health and birthing centers, improved access to clean water and support to Zero Open Defecation and recognizes in South-to-South Cooperation with Indonesia, Dangal ng Bayan Awardees and ARTA champions.

Moreover, the Minister of Health Dr. Dipatuan echoes the vision of the ministry that shall improve health services by increasing human resources for health, increasing the capacity of the health facilities, provide quality care and to serve more poor patients, engaging more stakeholders especially the community and local government unit, build more hospitals, rural health units and barangay health stations and to instill moral governance in the organization of Ministry of Health. “I want to ensure that the Bangsamoro people can be proud of the Ministry of Health”, said Dr. Dipatuan./via Dr. Kadil M.
