Region XII Barangay Nutrition Scholar Federation headed by Ms. Creamhield C. Bation provided separation pay to retiree BNSs. Separation pay is the assistance given by SOCCSKSARGEN BNS Federation to BNS who will separate or retire from service. The said assistance will be availed if the member is paying the BNS dues for 3 consecutive years and has served for a minimum of 3 years continuously as BNS. Furthermore, assistance will be P200.00 per year for the number of years in service with minimum of 15 years.

Four (4) BNSs from LGU Norala, South Cotabato received separation pay upon completion of the documentary requirements stated in Rule 5.3 of the Implementing Rules & Regulations (IRR) of the Region XII BNS Federation Incorporated (RBNSF, Inc.) benefits and privileges. Documents submitted were reviewed and scanned by the Regional BNS officers.

Furthermore, the Implementing Rules and Regulations cover all Barangay Nutrition Scholars of Region XII who are paying and honorary members of the RBNSF, Inc. and on the active status of duty regardless of fund source of allowance. Consequently, the assistance could only extend to BNS who have been paying members for three (3) consecutive years.
