TACLOBAN CITY – In their first ever 2022 meeting of District/City Nutrition Program Coordinator, the group elected its new set of officers and Board of Directors (BOD). The following are the new set of officers and BOD:

PRESIDENT: MICHELLE O. SIEGA – Maasin City
VICE PRESIDENT: CLAURRISE ANN SANTOS – Southern Leyte
SECRETARY: FRANCIS ERIKA MALAZARTE – Ormoc City
TREASURER: LIZA LENDERO – Tacloban City
AUDITOR: FERLIN MARTINEZ – Leyte
PIO: DORIS CAJEGAS – Eastern Samar

BOARD OF DIRECTORS:

ROWENA BERTULFO – Leyte
FREDA ESTRADA – Catbalogan City
RIO ROSALES – Biliran
JOCUND FRADEL BALANQUIT – Northern Samar
EMERITA ORTIZ – Calbayog City

The new set of officers and BOd agreed to review and finalize their Constitution and by-laws. Part of the agenda of today’s meeting is on requiring to D/CNPC to pay membership fees and annual dues as indicated in their constitution and by-laws.

The group also agreed to create a group chat with all the members through Facebook messenger to have easy access to information and exchange of ideas.

Moreover, Ormoc CNPC and D/CNPC new Secretary Ms. Francis Erika Malazarte is required to submit minutes of the meeting by next week and to be shared in the group chat.

The NNC 8 is thankful for the new set of officers and BOD who are young and dynamic. NPC Dr Kattie Dotollo challenges the D/CNPCs to work hard and help achieve better nutrition outcomes for Eastern Visayas.
