NNC Region Office VI, facilitated the signing of amended MOU with CDA & DAR Region 6 and Marketing Agreements with the Guimbal Development Cooperative and Passi City Community and Employees Multi-purpose Cooperative for TKDSP Phase 3 on 16 March 2022 held at EON Centennial Resort Hotel and Waterpark, Alta Tierra Village, Jaro, Iloilo City.

DAR VI graced the blended face-to-face event Regional Director Atty. Shiela B. Enciso represented by ARPO II Ms. Ma. Arni B. Sumaylo, GUIDECO Loan Officer Jeo Carlo G. Garingalao, GUIDECO Accounting Officer Sunshine Hazzel Famorcan, PACCEMO General Manager John Arthur P. Palma, CPA, and PACCEMO Board of Director Cyril P. Maloco.

Also present during the ceremony are NNC RVI RNPC Reginaldo T. Guillen, NO III Sheryl C. Sedantes, PNFP, Heda V. Suing, and NOI Roselle Eve Ferrer.

The signing ended with a Closing Message from OMO – EPAHP Program Ms. Hannah Grace R. Chua.

NNC partnered with cooperatives under the stewardship of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) to purchase fresh produce directly from local farmers, fisherfolks, and cooperatives for the distribution of healthy and nutritious hot meals to nutritionally-at-risk pregnant women beneficiaries of the Tutok Kainan Supplementation Program for 30 days. It can also contribute to the livelihood of small farmers and fisherfolk, and thus further the efforts towards food security.
