Ms Clytie Alesna-Sta Cruz receives her loyalty award of four decades (40 years) of dedicated and committed service to the National Nutrition Council. The award was given during the agency’s 47th Founding Anniversary on 24 June 2021 via zoom platform.

Indeed, loyalty has engraved in her heart for the services rendered. A loyalty award is not enough for that memorable and wonderful services. Sta Cruz in her acceptance message said “I am very excited to retire and take to another wheel of my life”. “ I wish to do a lot of things that I have not been able to do because of work obligation. I really look forward to spending more time with my family and friends. At the same time, I also feel sad that I would finally be leaving my beloved NNC and my NNC family”, a teary eyed Sta Cruz further said.

Earlier in her acceptance message Sta Cruz emphasized the knowledge and experiences she has gained at NNC and that not everybody is given that privilege. According to her, she realized that human resources are of equal and of utmost importance.

The loyalty award according to her will forever be treasured. It is a testament of a life she had with NNC. It speaks with the memories-happy and sad and of failures and successes, of the friendships built with NNC and its clients along the way. Her job at NNC has enriched her as a public servant and as a human being. She is forever grateful to NNC for what it has done to her and her family. She further said that the job she has handled at NNC gave her family food on top of their table, clothes to wear, roof over their heads and diplomas of her children on the wall. She considers her 40 years of dedicated service at NNC a milestone in her life and career as public servant. More than ever, she will face another major milestone in her life- her Retirement.
