RBATF8 May2021PALO, Leyte – To ensure that salt used in households and food establishments in the region is appropriately iodized, the Regional Bantay Asin Task Force (RBTAF) in Eastern Visayas will kick off its salt monitoring this June.

This was agreed during its first meeting for 2021 at the Hotel Alejandro in Tacloban City on May 4.

The task force will set a meeting first with P/CNAOs for the scheduling in their respective areas.

Ortega, FDA-8 Officer-in-Charge and RBATF chairperson, with other members physically present including the representative of the Department of Trade and Industry, Philippine Information Agency, the Philippine National Police, and the Tacloban CNAO.
