𝘿𝙧. 𝘼𝙯𝙪𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙖 𝙈𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙖- 𝘿𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙝𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜, 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙭𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝘿𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝙄𝙑 of the National Nutrition Council is invited to be a panelist in two Side Events of the 𝙎𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙮-𝙚𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙝 𝙎𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙮 on 20 May 2025. First is the Geneva Health Forum 2025 Nutrition Session entitled “𝙉𝙪𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙤𝙖𝙙 2030 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨, 𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙨 𝙉𝙚𝙭𝙩” where she will be 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠 among the panelists during the Roundtable Discussion. The goal of the event is to mobilize Geneva-based stakeholders around outcomes of the Nutrition for Growth Summit, foster dialogue on advancing the nutrition agenda, and inspire collective action.

Second is “𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙣 𝙈𝙞𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙪𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘿𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨, 𝙄𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙖 𝘽𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙙𝙖: 𝘿𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙣 𝙒𝙃𝘼 76.19 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙇𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙚-𝙎𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙚 𝙁𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣,” where she will also be the 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙧 during the high-level roundtable discussion, with the Philippines as a Member Co-host. This event intends to mobilize action and attention to large-scale food fortification, one year before the first implementation report is due.

The 𝙎𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙮-𝙚𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙝 𝙨𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙮 will convene from 19 to 27 May 2025 in Geneva, Switzerland, under the theme “One World for Health.” The Health Assembly will bring together high-level country representatives and other stakeholders to address health challenges. This year’s gathering comes at a pivotal moment for global health, as Member States confront emerging threats and major shifts in the landscape for global health and international development.
